I'm an amateur writer from Elk River, Minnesota. I frequently find myself writing westerns, noir, horror, and fantasy, or even combining genres. I enjoy delving into why we do what we do--all the traditions and subconscious cues that make us who we are, and who we become when faced with the unthinkable. My favorite authors are the likes of Cormac McCarthy, Arthur Miller, and Stephen King.

I am currently serving in the United States Navy, and frequently find myself getting ideas from the stories my friends tell and what I experience in my day-to-day life. No doubt that in my line of work, inspiration comes as natural as it can, if not a little forcefully. While I'm in, I hope to get a degree in communications and my EMT certification. After my hitch, I aim to become either a journalist or try my hand writing for Hollywood.
